Well over fifty years ago, before today’s industry giants evolved to dominate our courts and fields, Jaclar was founded in Stoughton, Massachusetts, with a vision to serve America’s youth. As a sponsor of the iconic Five Star Basketball Camps in Boston, Jaclar was worn by greats ranging from coaching legend John Calipari to the GOAT, Michael Jordan.
Our goal is to revisit our rich heritage and reintroduce young millennials to our classic sportswear and footwear. Join us as we reimagine Jaclar.
JACLAR RUNNING
First held in 1897, the Boston Marathon is the oldest annual marathon and a landmark event in the running community. Released by Jaclar in 1978, the Boston 26 marked a significant development in running footwear while honoring the marathon’s legacy.
Designed in Stoughton, Massachusetts, the Boston 26 is Jaclar’s flagship model, developed specifically for long-distance runners with a focus on comfort and durability. Crafted from materials that were advanced for their time, it features a padded nylon upper, suede at the heel and toe box for a secure fit, and a distinctive “Boston 26” logo on the tongue. Its rubber waffle outsole provides excellent traction, making the Boston 26 a notable advancement in running footwear.
